I'm a bit late, but here comes the time to close the 2023 STAG Event, and announce the results of this Pangaean-unique random acts of kindness initiative.
First, clavoieart opened the event with her gift for her restaurant staff:
It was 24$ in value:
Then, Nitasinia citizen Mumen Charles gave metal CDs for a pal, a value of 30$:
I also participated, and had a thought for my own coffee shop girls, value of 37.50$:
Sadly, considering the recession affecting most countries, no one else was able to participate, so this 2023 STAG event involved 3 citizens (2 Pangaeans and 3 Nitasinais), and the total value given was 91.50$... .50 cent short of 2022's STAG Event, so sadly, Leon Grad, no the record was not broken.
HOWEVER, I would like to give a shout out to people in Quebec whose actions were not recorded, but whom have been very kind to others. We saw a girl give 40$ to a homeless man; a man came every week to the grocery store to buy lunch for another homeless; one of my colleague spent both Christmas and New Year with a lonely man with terminal lung cancer in order to celebrate the holidays with him; and another woman also gave money to a homeless; while another colleague gave lifts to someone who had lost her car for 2 weeks, day after day, until she had her car back.
Let never people who are sitting on their asses and whom have way more money and way more power than us pretend that we "common people" are not solitary with each other; for "common" people have given way more considering their own needs than people in power did.
Happy New Year, and let's make 2024 an even better year for the Federation of Pangaea than before. Let us shine our light farther and brighter than ever before, and show the world: There's still hope.

As a former waitress, I know how demanding this job is, and how often their value is underestimated. So I always try to spare a thought for the women and men who spend their days sometimes serving up to 200 customers a day without necessarily receiving their due (tips, respect, etc.). So this year, I'm offering an assortment of candies and nougats for the gang at a restaurant I frequent. Bags with a personalized note for the waitresses and cooks I know personally, and a matching dish for the other people who make up their team but whom I don't know (because they too deserve a reward).
