The First STAG Event is concluded! The Seasonal Tradition Acts of Generosity is an event during which citizens of the Federation of Pangaea and of Pangaean Countries give away gifts to people around the world. The first of such event was launched at the occasion of the 2022 holidays, and has just ended on the 2nd of January. And the results are finally in!
Pangaeans gave away a total exceeding 92.99 CAD worth of gifts to other people, across the world. This is pretty impressive for a first event. Here are this season's stars:
Leon Grad (myself) opened the party and gave a little box of chocolate ($19.99) to a friend, because, well, who doesn't like chocolate?
Ander Evermore, leader of the Arcanum of Relica, produces his own nation's stuff (which is more than what most leaders do these days...), and built a quality handmade book with a leather cover, which he gave to a loved one. Relican books are beautiful and I've always felt they have a charm to them.
Carole Lavoie from Quebecia gave 20 bucks to a waitress, and pointed out that waitressing is an underestimated yet very rough job with little breaks. Which is certainly true.
Juliette Gagnon in Canada gave 30$ to a homeless person. That act touches me deeply. We need more people like you Juliette.
Last but not the least, SmokeFromFire gave away a nice little assortment of chocolate and jam to a colleague, the worth of which summed up to 23 CAD. I knew chocolate was the way to go!
I'd estimate Ander's gift value to raise the total giveaways value way above the hundred CAD bar, over three times the Federation's own current reserve!
Thank you Ander Evermore, Carole Lavoie, Juliette Gagnon and SmokeFromFire for participating in the first-ever STAG, and making it a special, magical event! You guys have contributed in giving a bit of joy to the world, may it be a loved one or a stranger! You guys are awesome!
Hoping to see everyone next holiday season!
