Is "Chi", or life force, real?
Has it ever been proven to actually exist?

I'm amazed so many studies are done for dark matter, something that is in best scenarios as impossibly possible to see, touch, hear, and even acknowledge its existence, yet none for Chi, which holds similar qualities. Some scientists have been able to pinpoint that crucial nerves triggers were located on the same paths than meridians, which permitted to acknowledge acupuncture as an actual "science".

What I forgot to say was, some of the serious studies conducted theorize that the Chi concept might not exactly be real in itself, but would serve as a form of placebo-type trigger to allow the brain to order its body to do things unexpectedly than if normal commands were used. It seems like a language used to better interface with the body; a bit like Windows, mac and Linux makes the same basic computers react differently depending on the interface used.
