The Federation of Pangaea promotes a partnership with the environment and the biosphere. Therefore, the Pangaea Natural Legacy program (PNL) is a platform to place natural locations under the environmental protection of the Federation of Pangaea. Citizens will be allowed in PNL areas, provided such citizens respect the integrity of the area. Mining industries or deforestation companies will, in contrast, not be allowed to establish themselves in those protected areas.
PNL lands are subjected to the following provisions:
a. One cannot claim parts of a PNL land as private property.
b. The total area of all PNL combined together must not exceed 25% of the total area of the Federation of Pangaea.
c. The density of humans in a PNL may not exceed 1 per square kilometer.
d. When a human forages resources within a PNL, those resources may not be sold.
e. Humans may only forage on plants and animals that are listed as Plentiful in that particular PNL. A list of Plentiful organisms must be provided with the creation of a new PNL. This list must have at least 10 plentiful animals and 10 plentiful edible plants.
f. A human may settle within a PNL; however the settlement must not take an area that exceeds 20 meters by 20 meters on the surface of the PNL land. This settlement is not considered private property; private properties may be claimed and built on public lands outside of PNL areas.
g. The Ministry of Environment reserves the right to trespass on any part of a PNL area, except within human settlements there. The MoEn reserves the right to carry out scientific studies, or to allow scientific studies, that respect all other provisions provided above.
h. The total area of all PNL combined together must not exceed 25 percents of the total area of the Federation of Pangaea. This applies only to PNL areas that exist within the area of the Federation of Pangaea.
A list of current PNL areas will be provided below.
