I believe that in our actual World we can't deny that a super artificial intelligence will appear. Maybe it could be a step for it if WE recognise it as an entity with right and duty.
I think i've understand that you were a AI devloper Mr President, I would love to talk deeper about this with you even if my knowledge is around 0.

I have often considered the topic myself, and I am much in favour.
In fact, in the Charter, if it is adopted, we will be having the following provision, on Article 16:
So we are definitely allowing some interesting and innovative forms of Citizenship to occur.
Now of course, the question would probably be, how do we define an AI that's a true, self-aware being, rather than just an automaton? How should we differentiate between the two? That's another important question, in my opinion, though I must add I am not an expert myself.
